sample:
" is in the same cafe, a night of celebration a customer we spoke of "Father chabreta pipers" of the Grand Jumilhac: nickname for a certain Veretou who played there once. Our investigation is moving at Jumilhac. The niece of the old piper offered us one of the most beautiful pictures of chabreta pipers: Jean Veretou , "lo pai chabreta pipers", "Lo Becat", with her face marked, played seated in action before the beginning century. We will find its instrument 20 years later. "

, some personalities have certainly daring, whether by their actions and ways of life
. With a hand of fate and because of their noble extraction (the nobility of the sword after the High Middle Ages
being recognized as the most "pure"), they rubbed the royal court of France at Versailles and
experienced the benefits of a privileged life and enviable in the eyes of their contemporaries.
start by Marie Authier born in the Castle Bregère the February 20, 1707. She was baptized

"A new invader, Asian hornet Vespa velutina "by Claire Villemant

The yellow-legged Asian hornet, Vespa velutina, is the first species of hornet was accidentally introduced to France. The invasion followed since 2004 is mapped on the site of the INPN ( http://www.inpn.mnhn.fr ). In 5 years, this insect probably originating from China has spread in a large southwestern third of our country. A recent modeling shows that the climatic conditions of much of Europe are in favor of expansion. This invasion
raises many questions both the speed and extent of dispersion of the case that its potential impact on ecosystems and beekeeping. Vespa velutina is actually a fierce predator of bees as a wide variety of other insects and spiders. We discuss the probable origin of the invasion, the acquired data on the biology and the expansion of the hornet and discuss the modalities of a possible control.

Claire Villemant is a researcher at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle (UMR7205 CNRS-MNHN) and responsible for the collection of Hymenoptera. His work focuses on the taxonomy of Hymenoptera parasitoids and the invasion of Vespa velutina in France. She has published in collaboration with photographer Philippe Blanchot two books on insects (Portraits of Insects, Seuil, 2004; head-to-face with insects, Seuil 2008)
